This function provides a text input field. You can write text or paste it from the clipboard and then convert it to uppercase or lowercase, for example.
If necessary, you can turn off your operating system's spell check – this is useful if you want to write a text in a foreign language.
After editing, copy the text from the text field back to the clipboard so that you can use it in another application.
